You can hike in the Waimea Canyon and along the Na Pali Coast, or you can bike along the coconut coast. During whale season you can take a whale watching tour, with some snorkeling and scenic sightseeing thrown in. Many visitors take tubing rides down our historic irrigation channels or fly across valleys on any of the numerous zipline adventures.
If you scuba dive, there are many boat outfits that will take you just offshore to their favorite spots. If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can journey to the forbidden island of Niihau and dive along some if its pristine reefs. Or maybe you just want to wade into the water with the little ones and see the sea life with your mask and snorkel.
Kauai helicopter tours and sunset sails often leave people in awe and marks the highlight of their trip. These activities are highly recommended to anyone with the means and interest.
